Christmas cross stitch patterns designed by Anette Eriksson in Scandinavian style – wreaths, reindeer, pine trees, robins, banners, cards and a 25-pocket advent calendar. Every pattern is an instant PDF download with charts and a DMC colour key, ready to stitch on 14ct aida or natural hessian.
Scandinavian Christmas, one stitch at a time
The designs draw on Nordic Christmas traditions: lingonberries, Fair Isle stags, snow stars and simple red-and-white motifs. Most are sized for a cushion or framed wall art, and many can be stitched on burlap (hessian) for a rustic, natural look – or on white aida for a crisper finish. New to stitching on hessian? Read How to Stitch on Burlap first.
What is in each pattern
You get charts in black and white (and in colour on many designs), a DMC colour key, instructions for preparing your fabric, and tutorials such as how to stitch on hessian and how to make a simple slipcover cushion. Finished size and fabric are listed on each product page.
Larger projects like the Advent Calendar, with 25 individually designed pockets, are best started well before December. For more Nordic designs, see Scandinavian Christmas needlework or browse all needlework patterns.
